A parent can create a household and register a guardian. That is the family account Chaperone offers today. The household is the record of who the guardians are. It is a browser page, not an App Store app.
What the account includes
Create a household opens the existing registration page. The guardian registers there. Billing is not live, and checkout is disabled. The account does not send money.
Device monitoring, app limits, screen time, and parental controls are not part of this account. They are not available yet, and this page does not describe them as launched. What “family safety” means while those controls are absent is on family safety.
